Beyoncé’s little sister tied the knot with her
video director beau this weekend – and they had
the coolest wedding EVER.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z may be the Queen and King
of cool, but Bey’s little sister Solange gave
them a run for their money over the weekend,
as she and fiancé Alan Ferguson rode matching
white bicycles into their wedding ceremony.
The happy couple tied the knot at the Marigny
Opera House in New Orleans on Sunday, arriving
on their vintage bikes at 2pm, with Solange
carrying flowers in her basket. Cue the sound of
one million women clicking and saving the image
to their hidden ‘Wedding’ Pinterest board.
Wearing a plunging off-white Stéphane Rolland
jumpsuit with matching cape, the bride then
slipped into a gorgeous gown by Humberto Leon
for Kenzo, which was revealed by Queen Bey in a
series of Instagram snaps.
Beyoncé herself kept things simple in a white
figure-hugging midi dress and platform heels,
having arrived after the bride and groom in a
black SUV, with Jay-Z and Blue Ivy. Like man of
the hour Alan Ferguson, Jay wore a white suit to
the nuptials, with he and Solange having clearly
put their infamous elevator incident behind
them.
"Everyone I worked with on the wedding are
friends who I love," Solange told Vogue on her
wedding day. "Everything was a labour of love."
The new Mrs Ferguson rocked a third look for
her wedding reception, a gorgeous asymmetric
mini dress, while a procession of sparklers for
the bride and groom only added to those dreamy
Pinterest board vibes.
